Code Vein Release Announcement and Screenshots

Untitled
Bandai Namco just announced Code Vein, an upcoming action RPG scheduled for release in 2018 on all major home consoles.
Code Vein is said to have weapon-based gameplay and a partner system where you choose an NPC partner to compliment your playstyle.
The game appears to take place in a post-apocalyptic world where some shots give me a very God Eater vibe. Many other websites are theorizing it may feel like some kind of anime/Dark Souls flow. What do you think?

There's some screens below. Check out the trailer here. Code Vein's characters look viscous in design and could be yet another good breath of fresh air in gaming. Its still a little far off being next year, and there's an onslaught of good games coming out this year, these online games that I am playing.

I feel like Code Vein is right up Bandai Namco's ally. Odd that there's currently no sign of the game on the Japanese site.
