New Pokémon Movie Commemorates The Series' Beginnings for 20th Anniversary

Its called Pokémon: I Choose You and its set for a July 15th, 2017 premiere in Japan. 
The news was recently announced on the Japanese show, Oha Suta: The Super Kids Station.


The movie will be commemorating Pokémon's 20th anniversary with a film based on the events of the Pokémon anime's first episode. 

There's a ton of nostalgia floating around in the trailer.


Excited? The scenery looks pretty with top-notch animation! One thing though, I don't seem to remember that hat...
